State Sen. Scott Renfroe, R- Greeley, received the prestigious Pinnacle Award from the Colorado Farm Bureau for his commitment and dedication to the agricultural community. The award, the highest given by the Farm Bureau, honors Sen. Renfroe’s work with farmers and ranchers throughout the state during the 2010 legislative session.
“I am honored to receive this award from the Colorado Farm Bureau,” said Sen. Renfroe. “It is important that we support the efforts of farmers and help them to overcome the obstacles they encounter during these tough economic times.”
Also receiving recognition for their work within the farming community are Senators Ted Harvey, Ken Kester, Keith King, Mike Kopp, Mark Scheffel and Nancy Spence. All were named as Friend of Farm Bureau and received an A rating for their loyalty to Colorado farmers.
